Summary
What does this car say about you?
I've got kids and I wish this was a Ferrari but its perfect for us!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They have all said they really like it. For an MPV its the best looking of them all and not as common as the usual kiddy wagons!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Its comfortable, lovely to drive and ideal for families.
What are you likely to buy next?
In about 5 years time another MPV.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£0
When did you buy the car?
April 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes. I checked out loads of Tinos on the Internet before hand so I knew the right price. We part exd our 1999 Seat Ibiza 1.4s. Total we paid was £4650.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
We needed space as we were trying to squeeze in to our Seat Ibiza with a new baby and pushchair. We liked everything about the Tino.
What was the dealer like?
Not good. Evans Halshaw of Darlington. When we went to collect the car they had failed to carry out the verbal agreements that were made before we made the deal. In all fairness they are collecting the car today to carry out the work that is needed but it should have been done for when we collected the car. It took the shine off of what should be a special day. Thankfully the car is great but I would warn people to be cautious with this dealer!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Lovely. Again I've read reviews saying its sluggish and has too much body roll. Its an MPV folks not an F1 car! If you have a young family its perfect. Smooth, comfortable and safe. The huge windscreen and height your sat at gives great visibility when driving at night.
What's it like to park?
Tricky. You cant see the front and the basic model does not have rear parking sensors or camera. Im paranoid my wifes gonna scrape it!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes. The A/C has not worked since we collected the car Just over a week ago but its getting fixed today. Im not too worried as it probably just needs recharging/servicing, all A/C units lose about 15% of their effectiveness a year.
What's most practical about your car?
The space! I have read reviews saying that Nissan have not made the most of the boot space! How big are other boots? I could live in the boot!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The onboard computer in particular the display which tells you how many miles until you run out of fuel. Genius!
