Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£0
When did you buy the car?
March 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Bought the car at auction for £4875 (21000 miles) with delivery and a few extras came in at just over £5000. Should be £6500 on the forecourt £7000 from a Nissan dealer. Saw a Y plate Almera Tino for £4000 at a used car supermarket so I am deighted with the price
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Bought car to replace Nissan Almera which was totally reliable
What was the dealer like?
N/A

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Clutch feels a lot sharper than my old Almera but visability is great, and I haven't noticed any of the reported body roll. Motorway driving particularly less stressful.
What's it like to park?
With the rear parking camera dead easy, but it should only be used when you are judging how close to a car behind you otherwise its easy to become disorientated

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing as yet, lovely clean car with two vey minor scratches. Only real dissapointment is that previous owner was a smoker, and depite loads of smelly's and valeting I can't get rid of the smell of cigarettes. There should be a £1000 premium paid by people who smoke when they sell cars just so the new owner has some money to try and get rid of the stench which attacks them everytime they get in a car they have paid a lot of money for!
What's most practical about your car?
Space and visability. Really big boot, and lots of spce for a family of four, the cabin is really light and airy.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Reverse parking camera unobtrusivly set into boot number plate, and optimum mpg guage.
