Summary
What does this car say about you?
Retired or on a budget or solid and reliable.. gets there in the end.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
No comments made so it's not getting anyone excited me thinks.
Would you buy this car again and why?
If it had more headroom, a much more economical engine (seems to me to drink more petrol than it should) and air con, I'd consider it, yes.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably.. Corolla, Astra, Fabia, Focus..

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No

£1,690
When did you buy the car?
October 2005
Did you get a good deal and why?
Could had paid more looking round at comparative prices.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Very good value for money, second hand, with bulletproof reputation for reliability.
What was the dealer like?
Old school friendly but not one for negotiating with. Sorted out steering pull without any cost, to me, so wasn't complaining.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Goes where you point it and is surprisingly agile. Not especially sporty but then it is a heavy car and given the engine size.. so not a surprise.
What's it like to park?
Personally, find it difficult as has long boot but it's a matter of working out the angles, as with all cars.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Mostly wear and tear but recurring problem has been the central locking which locks automatically at it's own behest! Rust fest at my last MOT round seatbelt anchorages, seams and suspension!
What's most practical about your car?
Get in, turn the key and you're away.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Not a gadget car by any means.. boot is sizeable though.
