Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Bought as replacement for another Almera written off in accident. Car very safe, I survived a high speed head on collision which destroyed a mondeo, walked out fine! Very reliable car so after insurance payout purchased another to replace, also based on price and what you get - good value, an underated car.

What's it like to drive?
Easy, Fairly good power for size and weight of car, excellent at motorway speeds. Use high revs to overtake on A roads Economy reasonable, 38 mpg ave It will move when pushed

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing - new one 6,500 miles in three months no problems! In my last Almera did 22,000 miles in one year- no problems of any kind. Seems totally solid. Kept up frequent oil changes/service
What's most practical about your car?
Boot good space, seats fold down easily.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Air con. Cd player good
