Economy
Value
For the price I paid, the equipment and extras, plus the badge, can't be faulted.
Costs
Running costs are very good, returns MPG quoted by Nissan (city driving - 32-35mpg, motorways 40+). No major repairs to speak of so far, servicing seems in line with other manufacturers.

On the road
Driving
Handling is superb, no problems on tight corners and twisty roads - others are amazed at the car's ability
Performance
Not the nippiest, don't try accelerating from slow roll in 2nd, top end is good, engine doesn't strain. Not the quickest on the block though.

Living with it
Reliability
It's a Nissan.. what else can I say?
Image
Dull as ditchwater and one for the flat-cap brigade image, at petrol stations people assume it's a company car, others have assumed it's my dad's! What 25yr old chooses to buy an Almera? This one! (Because I like to be different)
Comfort
No problems at all, cabin is well designed, seats are excellent on long journeys, ride isn't too 'hard'.

Security and Service
Security
Nissan own immobiliser fitted as standard, audio linked to immobiliser. Keyless entry (keyholes are covered on our vehicle).
Service
Nissan have been excellent - have kept in contact and checked up. One minor complaint about a dealer was dealt with by the central Customer Service site with speed and courtesy (and I got a free service, hurrah!)

Problems and Ownership
Problems

Other
Rear wiper arm was fitted with an overtightened nut - causing the plastic casing to split. Nissan couldn't prove fault, so I paid up for a replacement - £12.75 (talk about breaking the bank.. not)
