Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says I can see a performance bargain when I see one and that I don't want to be all flashy and in your face like Porsche and Ferrari owners.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The GF loves it and drives it just as much as me. Neighbours love it also and my friends always want a ride in it for a pure adrenaline rush.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would definitely buy a GTR again but would wait quite a few years for the evolution of this model to improve yet again. God knows how good new GTR's will be in say 2016/17???
What are you likely to buy next?
I use this as a weekend car and honestly don't know what I could buy to replace it. The only thing that could think of is a newer GTR in the future. Why would anyone buy a 911 Turbo or Ferrari 458 as a road toy when you can get this car that can do 0-60 in 2.7 seconds for half the price!!!

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£56,000
When did you buy the car?
May 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
I got a decent deal for the car, I traded in my 722hp R34 M-spec Nur and Evo 8 FQ400 for £46k so only had £10k left to pay on it. The car was decently priced anyway compared to other GTR's of the same age/spec. Plus this one was remapped to 590 horses!!!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I've always admired GTR's past and present and had already owned a highly tuned R34 GTR, so decided to finally get one to see if they live up to all the hype.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer was a GTR enthusiast and fell in love with my R34 and said he just had to have it. As the car is mapped the warranty was void so he gave me a 24 month one himself, Brilliant seller.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Driving around town the car isn't too bad to drive, the engine is smooth and the seats are nice and comfy. On the other hand the auto box could be a little less jerky on changes and the suspension is a tad too stiff for speedbumps and potholes. Apart from that it an absolute joy.
What's it like to park?
It isn't bad considering the size of the rims and length of the car. The rear parking sensors help greatly though (tick this on the options list).

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only had it 2 months but completely bulletproof so far.
What's most practical about your car?
The fact that it has 4 seats and a big spacious boot just like a saloon car but it can also beat pretty much anything else on the road aswell.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The car has literally everything you could need in a car; air con, cruise control, sat nav, heated seats etc etc but the best gadget by far is the launch control system. I have never driven anything that lunges forward off the line like this does!
