Nissan Juke SUV 1.6 Hybrid Tekna 5dr Auto Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
I have recently part exchanged my C class Mercedes for the juke hybrid. I was really worried about what people would think, if it would feel cheap and if I would regret losing the premium Mercedes badge. I can honestly say I really like it.
It’s excellent around town. If you use the E Pedal, you will really quickly restore the battery. After exploring the buttons and what they do etc, I managed to drive from home to my town centre in purely EV mode. Averaging around 57.8 mpg for the return jurney.
I watched videos and was told that the car wouldn’t stick in ev mode past 34 mph. But having driven the car and watched the “Energy Flow Meter” you will get brief sections of 70mph driving in pure electric or using the battery with the engine charging the battery.
I felt like with the cost of living, and the price of cars increasing, that “down grading” would be a challenge. But having lived with it for a couple of weeks I can honestly say, I’m growing more fond of it as time passes. The tech is amazing, on motorway it can litterally drive it’s self. The Bose sound system is fantastic. Apple car play I couldn’t live without. I haven’t had a winter in the car yet, iv so heated seats, steering wheel and windscreen haven’t been tested. But I’m actually looking forward to the winter, now having to scrap the screens and freeze while you sit and wait for the car to warm up. Last thing to mention is 360 cameras albeit appear to be low res compèred to the merc, are great to have.
Go for a test drive and see what you think, but it’s a real game changer.
