Nissan Leaf (2011 - 2018) Acenta 5d Auto Owner Review

In their own words
As a second car for trips out locally 35miles there and 35 back say it is brilliant. Longer trips take a bit more planning. Bought for £5.3k with 76k miles (battery owned) and should work out cheaper than cheapo older car over around 5 years. 1.3p per mile on low cost electricity tariff... What else can do that? it is a serene driving experience.
I need to do more long trips to really get the feel for everything, but to spec a similar diesel Focus is not much less and I know you have the range there, but you just feel better in the Leaf, just more relaxed, because you are likely going that bit slower and taking your driving really into account to make sure the car does what you need it to do.
My kids love how it is silent and the smaller battery in the Leaf is fine to charge at home in around 4hrs (20% to 80%).
I can't see us affording a longer range electric car for a while but this is definitely the way to go.
