When we bought our Leaf, our first ever EV, we were a bit hesitant. How would it drive? What range would we get? Could we charge it when we NEEDED it? Now that we have one, we keep asking, why did we wait so long to get one? The only answer could be lack of infrastructure but, even that can be overcome with some planning and a home charger. We regularly transport a family of 4 and all our gear. We've moved a dining table and chairs, a writing desk and made a round trip journey from near Blackpool to IKEA in Warrington WITHOUT having to top up with a charge. At around £4 to 'fill', a range of around 120 miles (over varied terrain) and plenty of space, what's NOT to like? And ours is only a 30Kw Tekna. Imagine what you could do with a new 40Kw or 62Kw Leaf! Best purchase we've ever made.
