Nissan Leaf (2011 - 2018) Tekna Flex 5d Auto Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
I have loved every minute of driving his car and would not go back to a petrol or diesel car, I have owned it for 4 years and it was 3 years old when I bought it. I have done 35k miles. It is an amazing car, though a little dated now, if you are considering a second car for your household, it is perfect, though a little limited in range, though this depends on how you drive and if its long motorway journeys. Electric cars work opposite of petrol and diesels, Ev's are better around town and A/B roads than on motorways. I was in a dilemma whether to keep it or buy a car with a bigger battery. You have to plan your journey ahead if doing long trips as to charging points, but once you get the hang of it and know your range, it is a very cheap vehicle to run and own. I have now purchased the Nissan Leaf 40kwh battery, as it was more refined than the Renault Zoe that I was thinking of buying.
As a second car it is fantastic, great handling, it is a lovely drive and I love the fact it has cruise control, speed limiter, heated seats, heated steering wheel, preheating of the seats and steering wheel and car. Once you get used to it, you won't want to go back.
How reliable do you find the car?
In 4 years I have done 35k and have replaced the remote battery and the 12v battery, also 4 new tyres. I have had it serviced every year. Nothing has ever gone wrong with it.
