Value
Secondhand there are some cheap versions around now.
Costs
Parts are fairly easy to get hold of and responably priced. Generably easy to work on.

Driving
At the itme of purchase (1983) this car drove resonably well, but by todays standards it's not brilliant. This is a not a Mini Cooper, but it does what it says on the tin - a general all purpose small vehicle thats great for town use.
Performance
Not a racer this one. But reasonable performance for size of car.

Living with it
Reliability
I bought this car from new in 1983 and the reliability was stunning. No problems over 10 years. Warning though - you must replace the timing belt (75,000 miles ish).
Image
Not exactly cool, but reliable and dependable. A good small workhorse. Recommended if you want very cheap motoring. Avoid if cambelt not changed and for smoking from exhaust.
Comfort
Seats are not really supportive and adjustment is limited, but ok though.

Security and Service
Security
I had to break into mine once as I lost the key. Considering I'm new to this it only took half an hour - most of which was spent working out how to do it ! Starting the car was'nt hard either (without a key). Buy a good steering lock.

Problems and Ownership
