Nissan Micra (1993 - 2002) 1.0 Activ 3d Owner Review

At 18 years old ( As of March 2020) my beautiful Tornado green (colour code BW3) Nissan Micra is an absolute pleasure to drive. The car had done 24,817 miles when I got it in January 2019. Since new it was owned by my friend's Granddad and then my friend, before coming to me. It is now May 2020 and it has now done 29,789 miles. 5000 miles of 100% problem free driving!!! Not one tiny falter, not one missed heartbeat. Very nippy for a 1.0 and does exactly what I need. Town and motorway driving is a breeze. Picks up well and has no trouble keeping up with the flow of traffic on main roads and on motorways. A little sluggish to start on very steep upward hills, but drop back down into 2nd and the little Micra will pick back up really well. I can not find anything to say negatively. Comfortable, nice, problem free drive. Will NOT be getting rid of this car. I will drive this car as long as I can. Keeping it maintained and regularly serviced, I can't see any reason why I would want to swap, the advantage of a chain driven engine too, reduces the chance to almost zero of having any need to change this unlike belt driven vehicles. Seriously amazing piece of engineering.
