Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not much.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
I've taken some stick from friends, who think it's a girly bubble car, but frankly I don't care. All I wanted when I bought it was a reliable small 4 door car and it has done the job admirably.
Would you buy this car again and why?
It's been very reliable, which is the most important thing for me when buying a car, however, now I have a family it is just too small, so I will be looking for something bigger next.
What are you likely to buy next?
I will be looking for an estate or people carrier next.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£4,000
When did you buy the car?
December 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
They gave me a good trade in price for my old car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
My highly unreliable Fiesta died and I needed a replacement quickly to commute to work.
What was the dealer like?
Pretty good.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It can cruise at 80mph on the motorway, but getting there is a bit slow. Acceleration when joining the motorway is poor but expected from a 1.2 engine.
What's it like to park?
Very easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The windscreen wiper linkage was broken when I test drove it, but the dealer fixed it. The trim in the boot also comes unclipped frequently, but that's a minor point. My main gripe is that the front passenger seat has to be pushed fully forward in order to safely accommodate a Britax dualfix baby seat in the back. This makes the front passenger seat useless for any adult with legs, effectively relegating them to sitting behind the driver (again with little leg room). Luckily my wife and I are both fairly short.
What's most practical about your car?
Pretty good fuel consumption, easy to park, good visibility, very reliable.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Air con is useful - especially when we drove to the south of France in mid-summer.
