No definitely not. Problems with the Micra auto CVT box appear to be common and linked to a belt that stretches after a comparatively short time and is very expensive to fix.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Automatic gearbox (CVT) needed major repair at 28K when car was just over four years old. Car had been serviced by main Nissan dealer according to service schedules. Cost of repair was £2000.00.
What's most practical about your car?
Size and zippy engine for about town
