What does this car say about you?

Although it has the image of being an old person’s car I think the new styling makes them look distinctive and quite modern. Micras are like marmite, you’ll either love the way they look or hate them.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone loves the car, most people describe it as looking cute. The only person who isn’t too keen is my boyfriend who seems to try and hide when I take him out in it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, I would defiantly consider another. I've driven quite a few cars but I've never fallen in love with any quite as much as this. The Micra has real character

Another Micra without a doubt.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I was lucky to pick a good time to buy, sales were still low due to the recession, the dealer was obviously keen to make a deal and offerd me a trade in price far above the worth of my old car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I fell in love with this car after learning to drive in it. I recently bought one after getting fed up with the unreliability of my Skoda Fabia. It’s even better than I remember it, easy to drive, easy to park, surprisingly spacious inside and very cheap to run.

What was the dealer like?

The dealer was a pleasure to deal with. After visiting quite a few other places it was nice to not have any high pressure sales tactics applied, they were attentive and friendly and more than happy to answer any questions. Even after i've bought it they continue to give a high level of service.

What's it like to drive?

Excellent about town, fine when driving out in the country. Not the best drive if you’re doing long distances on the motorway, but then this isn’t a car you’d buy if you were planning on doing this on a regular basis anyway. I can honestly say that I genuinely enjoy driving it.

What's it like to park?

Good all round visibility and the small size of the Micra make it very easy to park.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Absolutely nothing has gone wrong yet, I know a few other people who own Micras and they claim they are generally highly reliable, and if anything does go wrong they are usually quite cheap to fix.

What's most practical about your car?

low running costs, insurance costs and very easy to park. Possibly the only downside is the limited boot space, but as I never have much to transport it’s never been much of an issue.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I love the integrated blue tooth and the fact I can plug my I-pod straight into the stereo.
