What does this car say about you?

That I wanted a car that was practical and safe but refused to compromise on style.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My family think she is wonderful. I have had some confused looks from my friends. Im 23 and they said they thought a micra was an older womans car. I wasnt offended because shes fab and felt confident when they saw her, they'd change their minds. I was right. When they saw her, they took it all back and said how lovely she was!

Would you buy this car again and why?

100%. She fantastic. Everything i could want. Brilliant on fuel, small so can make use of the smaller parking spaces, attractive shape, comfy seats, great storage inside. I am glad this car has 5doors. Its not something i thought was overly important, but it does make life a lot easier.

What are you likely to buy next?

Ive only just bought this one, so im not sure. However, i would definately consider another nissan micra. If i bought something different, it would have to be a brilliant deal/car, which to be honest i dont think will happen. This car is fantastic value for money. Everything ive always wanted.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I think i got a relatively good deal. I had looked around and similar models and ages and higher mileage were selling for around £5,000. The car is in mint condition with only 23,000 miles on the clock.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

When doing my research, I read that they were incredibly reliable. I love the size. I was also impressed that even the basic models come with electric front windows and a key fob. Good value for money. Oh and of course, i love the shape!

What was the dealer like?

Really nice guy. The only dealer ive ever felt was there to make my life easier and find me the right car rather than just trying to get my money. I have a feeling he realised it was a decent car and knew if i didnt buy it, it wouldnt be long before someone did.

What's it like to drive?

It is lovely. The engine is very quiet and she is a dream to drive. I feel very relaxed when i am driving her. I also feel very safe. She feels very solid which i like. I do find in comparison to my old car that shes hard to see out of when your reverse. However, my old car was rather square in shape and had very large windows. I dont think this car in any different to any other modern car. It isnt a problem and is just a matter of getting used to her really.

What's it like to park?

She is a dream. I always thought that micras were actually quite big, however i was very wrong! She can fit into dinky spaces. She also has a very tight turning circle too which makes life easier.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nope. Everything has been perfect.

What's most practical about your car?

I love all the little cubby holes. There is a coin tray, a takeaway took, 4 cup holders (two in the front and two just behind the handbrake for the rear passengers) and it also has a CD case drawer above the CD player. This is great as i never have enough room in the glove box for all my cases and i get worried about leaving them in the door. It is also a good size for parking. Very tight turning circle.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Parking sensors. I always said id never buy a car with them because ive always found them to be irritating. However, they are a godsend and i would definitely buy another car with this feature. This model comes with Air Con but ive not really used it. However, it does clear the windscreen in seconds. Not really had the weather to require this gadget yet, but i think it will be lovely in the summer.
