I don't mind being seen in a frog.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Not much, it's a Marmite car.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Maybe the diesel version, and a later model after all the trim and electrical issues sorted - presuming that this car's problems are due to its early build date, and not just because the Renault electrics in it are as bad as French electrics are reputed to be!

Yaris or C2 diesel

Did you get a good deal and why?

Was swiftly needed replacement for car written off in accident, so had no time to haggle much.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Well equipped, looks.

What was the dealer like?

Can't recall, used buy so never saw them again once it was driven off the forecourt.

What's it like to drive?

Softish ride, which is fine as it's not meant to be sporty. But the gear ratios are appalling, at an indicated 70mph the engine is doing 3,600rpm, and is far too noisy to sustain on the motorway for any length of time.

What's it like to park?

Easy with reverse sensors and lighter steering at low speeds.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Er... Lots. Much of the interior trim is loose or ill-fitting. The remote locking frequently refuses to lock. The boot lock release packed in. The heater has lost most of its heat.

What's most practical about your car?

Easy to drive, the variable power steering makes it easy to park too.
