What does this car say about you?

This is an affordable, practical family car. Some have said this is a 'boring' option - though if you have young kids and need to buy a car to last until they are older - this one will meet your requirements.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They like it and are impressed with the space inside it, as well as the storage in the boot.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes though if I had the money I'd splash out on a newer model with parking sensors (if this exists).

What are you likely to buy next?

Hope I won't be buying a car for a while! Maybe a small urban run around.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Got £1000 off the marked price so happy with the deal. Had to return the car within 4 days of purchasing due to an engine malfunction light showing (a common issue with Notes).

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Good family sized car with a good review on whatcar.com Affordable option for a small family. Great amount of space inside and lots of storage options. Worth upgrading to a higher spec trim.

What was the dealer like?

Very reasonable to deal with. Once the sale was agreed, wasn't providing any extra's at all - though I got a good price anyway. Good at sorting out and replacing the faulty O2 sensor.

What's it like to drive?

Smooth to drive - not too noisy, as some reviews have reported. Raised seat position means great visibility and comfort.

What's it like to park?

Ok though it is a little longer and wider than my previous car so just takes a little while to adjust. Parking sensors would have been a great help though not available with the 08 model.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes - O2 sensor went (though was replaced under 30 day warranty after purchase). This is apparently common in Note's, especially if the car is used for short journeys/school run.

What's most practical about your car?

The space for passengers/driver and storage. Great boot space, Acenta model has under seat storage at the front and a large glove box.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Steering wheel controls, passenger seat secret storage when lifting up seat. Boot space shelf divider, to hide/ ;ayer up your storage area. Very practical for families with young children (storage area for prams/wellies/boots etc).
