Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I'm frugal and maybe a little too safe when buying cars.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My golfing buddy thinks its an old persons car and maybe he's right but it gets the job done and cheaply.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes its a good car but if I'm honest I probably wont as I like a change.
What are you likely to buy next?
I will look at the Focus again when the prices of the 1.0L engine come down a bit I did test drive one and liked it but the note had all the focus gadjets and more at half the price No contest !!!!!!!

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£7,000
When did you buy the car?
March 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
Probably could have improved it slightly had I pushed a bit harder (regrets!!!) However I was offered the best deal in the area by far for my old Clio.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It had all the extras I wanted in a car for a lot less money than the focus I was really interested in.
What was the dealer like?
Fine just gave me the keys and sent me off for a test drive with my wife whilst he looked at my trade in. Not pushy at all just a straightforward chat which is how I like it.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Piece of cake but its no sports car.
What's it like to park?
A doddle mine has front and rear sensors fitted and its a small car so what's hard about parking.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing at all so far.
What's most practical about your car?
The sliding back seat which allows room for my golf clubs and trolley with the parcel shelf still in place.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The speed limiter which allows you to accelerate and brake below the set speed without disengaging Better than using the cruise control which does just that as soon as you brake or change gear. Great for the cameras of which there are too many these days.
