Summary
What does this car say about you?
Some friends have said the car looks posh & upmarket, otherwise my belief it's like a Golf that can fit into any circumstance but half the price & better reliability.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They would like the same car & three Notes have appeared.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - for a small car it ticks all the boxes & from my previous Nissans is likely to be pain free.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure: like the Audi Avant but expensive, Mazda6 estate good contender & looking at SEAT Exeo estate as this is an A4 Avant in disguise. To replace Jaguar X type estate.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£6,000
When did you buy the car?
January 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
Fantastic value for a three-year old car that has all the gadgets an expensive large car would have. Plenty of room & flexibility in seating / extended storage to 1,300 litres. Perfect condition with recorded low mileage.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
This is my third Nissan, hired a Note circa 2006 - gave good performance in Irish mountains with four adults & luggage. Car is a tardis!
What was the dealer like?
Friendly, laid back, responsive, provided a good service - I would recommend their services.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
City driving is superb with responsive performance & steering. Gear change a bit clunky & would like a bit more power on the motorway when fully loaded.
What's it like to park?
Simple, precise & even my wife avoids the obstacles with the parking sensors.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
So far trouble free, my wife loves it for her daily commute & feels safe / plenty of room.
What's most practical about your car?
The inside space is big for four adults & the back bench seat moves forward to give 1,300 litres of space to lug my university kids back & forwards. Space is bigger than my 4.8 metre long estate car!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Standard sat-nav. Easy to use, clear picture & vocal instructions.
