Would you buy this car again and why?

No - the Renault take over of Nissan has lead to a marked deterioration in quality. I have owned 4 Nissans; the previous 3 were pre-Renault and were superb with very few problems - I have now had more problems with this one car than I had with all the other 3 combined. The sooner Nissan lose input from Renault the better.

Yes - only 1400 miles on the clock; just like new

Next step up from the Almera

What was the dealer like?

Very efficient

What's it like to drive?

Smooth (when its not rattling). Powerful enough.

What's it like to park?

Easy. Very good power steering.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes- steering column needed replacing after 8000 miles. Driver's door lock solenoid stopped working at 3000 miles. Air bag worked itself loose witihin the steeering wheel after 15000 miles causing vibration and rattling noise. car has been back to Nissan main dealer on 4 different occasions to have a rattling noise investigated; on each occasion a loose exhaust bracket was blamed; this rattling noise has now started again !
