Nissan Primera Estate (1999 - 2002) 2.0 16V SE+ 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Purchased to replace an earlier 1.6 Sunny Estate of simular size. I had the misfortune of the air conditioning unit failing and was replaced. (Expensive) I also had the ABS system fail, due to a pot hole that broke the sensor ring of the front wheel, and the ABS pump unit then burning itself out. Note: All the ABS dashboard lights worked, until the one day the warning light stayed on. On inspection the broken sender ring on the front wheel was found, and it was estimated it had broken some time ago. (I had hit the pothole about 5 months earlier.) The outcome was that I had the entire breaking system rebuilt including new pads, disks and bearings. (Very expensive but cheaper than a replacement car of the same quality) It has had new sets of tyres and exhaust front and back boxes, From my point of view it is a real work horse, it can transport 3 metre lenghts of timber inside the vehicle, with the back closed, A box of 1.7m long x 0.9m wide x 0.4m high fits in the back with the rear seats down, again with the back closed, To my mind it is a poor mans Volvo estate! I am well impressed with the build quality, so I plan to keep it for some time yet.
