Summary
What does this car say about you?
Very little, and that's the way I like it.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Ditto!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely, this one has been faultlessly reliable, great to drive and the best "banger" I've ever had.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably a 2.0l, to make up for the slight lack of performance from the GA16 engine, or turbo-diesel Primera.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£140
When did you buy the car?
August 2006
Did you get a good deal and why?
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted something cheap(very), MOT'd, taxed, and reliable. This fitted the bill perfectly.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Nissan made a good job of the Primera's suspension, tuning it for the European market. It's unfussed and easy to drive, even at high speeds, but the back end can step out if you drive beyond its limits. The ride is a bit choppy but it's surprisingly comfortable over long journeys.
What's it like to park?
Easy, good all-round visibility and light power-assisted steering. Can afford to bump park too because the bumpers on this model are unpainted!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The radiator was heavily corroded, replaced with a decent scrappy-bought one . Needed a few bits for the MOT, including the front dampers, CV joint and balljoint.
What's most practical about your car?
The humungous boot and reliability.
