Economy
Value
Secondhand you get a lot for your money.
Costs
Shop around for parts and avoid main-dealers.

On the road
Driving
Pleasant on motorway or country lane. Multi-link suspension leaves even very expensive kit as small dots in your rearview mirror on A roads. This car is fun to drive for a rep-mobile.
Performance
Drop 2 gears for best performance. Get correct plugs for best results. Engine pulls and pulls. On the motorway it sees off most cars. You can get inexcess of 125mph.

Living with it
Reliability
Never let me down. They have bad old fashioned timing chains which never break and never need replacing. Took a lot of hammering. Died at 143K due to suicidal deer did £2K of damage to front end. Didn't look much but repair costs these days. . .
Image
As they say bland, no one ever knew what is was, but liked it. Wonder if they were being polite?
Comfort
With so much adjustment in the drivers seat you get it wrong more often than right.

Security and Service
Security
I had an immobiliser and alarm, but never broken into away.

Maindealers like most makes are different where ever you go.
