Summary
What does this car say about you?
Good looking car - business like, not particularly that flash but different from the usual Mondeo / Vectra / Avensis / Octavia crowd
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Thought it looked impressive... until they drove it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No chance. My advice is to steer clear, or if you do have your heart set on one ensure you take it for a lengthy test drive and make sure you're happy!
What are you likely to buy next?
Anything but a Primera.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
A diabolical car to drive. Either I've picked a bad example (it had full service history, one owner and low mileage so don't see how) or they are just seriously bad cars full stop. The ride is atrocious, the front seats are disgracefully uncomfortable and will give you back ache. The ride quality is worse than cars offered by certain cheaper Malaysian manufacturers. To put it in perspective my old Peugeot 406 which is 5 years older knocks spots off the Primera.Infact almost every car I've owned have driven much better than this car. A friend of mine has the older version of the Primera which is a superb car to drive. This latest model was produced in collaboration with Renault. By far one of the worst cars I've ever driven and owned. Immediately regret purchasing it.
What's it like to park?
Not bad, rear view parking camera is a nice touch

Have you had any problems with the car?
What's most practical about your car?
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Plenty of gadgets for the money but all these little niceties do not detract from its overall dismal performance, shoddy quality and shocking road manners
