Summary
What does this car say about you?
Family man.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Slightly quirky family hatchback.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. It serves it's purpose as a dog box cum kiddie carrier, which will get used hard until it dies. It has been reliable and is OK for what it is, but the fuel economy is terrible, and the electrics are a little suspect. Bit too noisy at higher speeds, and gearing too short. Far too revvy for a diesel. (2600 @ 70mph)
What are you likely to buy next?
Diesel Estate, probably a Passat or Volvo V70.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
A little sluggish and noisy from cold, but comfortable. Becomes more responsive when engine warmed up. Slightly noisy on the motorway and fuel economy no where near quoted figures (getting 35mpg average no matter how you drive it)
What's it like to park?
Easy, reversing camera takes a little bit of getting used to, but once you learn to judge it, it's brilliant.
