Nissan Primera Saloon 2.0 SRi 4d (1996/N) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Excellent value for money thanks to steep depreciation.
Costs
Nissan parts expensive. I use halfords or my local motor factor.

On the road
Driving
Handling is excellent for a car this size. Brilliant steering and cornering.
Performance
Resonably fast for 125bhp. Feels faster than performance figures suggest, although a bit flat below 3000rpm.

Living with it
Reliability
Starts every morning and has never broken down, except after a trip to the car wash when water got into the electrics.
Image
Not a cool car to own, but that's not what I was looking for. Cool cars get nicked.
Comfort
A very comfortable car on long journeys.
-
Security and Service
Security
Good. Required no additional security for my insurance.
Service
Good for spares that I can't get anywhere else. Otherwise, not very impressed.
