Nissan Primera Saloon 2.0 16V GT 4d (1998/S) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
AC, alarm, full electrics, sunroof - £3700! Can't be right can it?
Costs
Pricey service to keep that Nissan stamp, but prices could be worse.
-
On the road
Driving
Strong chassis, corners well and has supurb grip.
Performance
Nothing before 4000rpm. Goes quite well top end but not startling considering 150bhp.
-
Living with it
Reliability
No problems yet.
Image
Do I dare say I like the GT kit? Mine came with nicer alloys as standard. As long as you don't modify it, looks ok!
Comfort
Hard ride, but then that adds to the appeal. Supportive half-leather bucket seats are nice.

Security and Service
Security
Alarm and immobiliser. Doubt it's gonna get stolen.
Service
Just had a full service and they didn't spot the left headlight was out. Not bad for £200. Asked them about a mysterious knocking on the front and was told that all primeras did it. Thats funny, I have a diesel one that doesn't. Sorry Nissan!
