Nissan Primera Saloon 2.0 TD SLX 4d (1997/P) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Cheap to buy.
Costs
For a 2 litre diesel this is a very thirsty car, averaging 33mpg around town and even on a good run (130 miles) it only creeps up to the mid-forties.

On the road
Driving
Nice driving position with everything to hand. Engine sounds ragged when revved.
Performance
I have all the disadvantages, poor economy, poor performance. TDi Passats leave me for dead. It is better suited to fast A roads and motorway cruising. Ratios are awful, engine has to be revved hard through gears to keep up with traffic.

Living with it
Reliability
Central locking packed up, cuts out when cold.
Image
Looks the part, beautiful met red. Not a Beemer though.
Comfort
Quite comfy with lots of interior room.

Security and Service
Service
Serviced by independant, when I asked Nissan Wolverhampton about the central locking not working the service receptionist suggested there wasn't any fitted! I wonder what all those funny little gadgets are in the doors?!
