Summary
What does this car say about you?
I have no idea what the car says about me. It is clean, smart and practical and as I like it that's all that matters to me.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My wife likes the car and no one else has really given an opinion. Those who have ridden in it really like it and are always surprised by the glass roof.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Practicality, economy, style and reliability.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something similar in the small SUV/Crossover category perhaps with 4WD.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£11,500
When did you buy the car?
January 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
I believe I got a good deal or at least a deal that fitted my timescales and budget well. I also got a fair trade-in value for my previous vehicle. As an aside I purchased the car just before Christmas and I believe the dealer was under pressure to make his numbers!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The car fits my needs well. Not too large but large enough for 5. Not too small for long journeys. Well equipped and comfortable. For sale at an acceptable price with what are turning out to be low running costs.
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly and efficient.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The engine is smooth and quiet albeit lacking a bit in power when loaded. For much of the time there are only two adults aboard so I do not notice the deficit. I particularly like the smooth riding suspension which absorbs the increasing number of potholes easily. So far in 3 months I have travelled over 6,000 miles and averaged 49mpg - outstanding!
What's it like to park?
The turning circle is good and reverse parking using the camera and mirrors is easy. However small rear windows with a heavy tint make parallel parking a challenge.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No
What's most practical about your car?
The car is just as practical as any other small hatchback with folding seats and a decent sized boot. For my needs, being a keen canoeist, having fixed roof bars is a huge advantage meaning I did not have to choose a large estate car to support my outdoor activities.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Having had cars with sat nav before I am satisfied with the system in the car however much to my surprise the thing I most like is the panoramic roof as it creates a very light and open environment that passengers like and seems to reduce incidence of car sickness.
