Initially I was pleased with drive and comfort of the Qashqai, but from the outset I had to have a succession of repair issues to contend with, most of which but not all were repaired satisfactorily. The recent serious subframe corrosion on a low mileage, well maintained car being the worst. I would urge owners to check this area regularly because from my experience once outwith warranty Nissan do not accept that there is any problem as regards quality and durability of their replacement parts. Less than helpful. Cannot believe I am the only Qashqai owner with this expensive problem.
How reliable do you find the car?
Series of minor issues most but not all fixed. Most recent very serious extensive subframe corrosion Nissan UK reluctant to admit that there may be a quality and durability issue. Extremely unhelpful and disappointingDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
This is my third Nissan, would have considered another but this experience makes me reluctant to buy the Qashqai.About their car
