Very popular. Everyone who has been in it liked it and a few have bought them since!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, I fancy upgrading to the newer 1.6dci engine in a couple of years.
What are you likely to buy next?
Possibly another a Qashqai or Mazda Cx5.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£12,000
When did you buy the car?
January 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
A good no frills deal from Car Giant. Car was in brilliant condition with loads of extras and happened to have just had a lot of work done on it by the previous (lease) owner. New tyres and brakes.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Practical, different, stylish and drives well.
What was the dealer like?
Car giant experience was very different to a normal car dealer. Everything is an extra, but cant argue with the price of the car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very good. Sharp handling considering its size. Feels a very much a pumped up version of the Mini I had previously. Punchy diesel engine took some getting used to compared to Petrols owned previously but I've got the hang of it now. The power band is 1500 - 3000 rpm and pulls well. Economy not brilliant (37mpg). Cruises brilliantly at high speed. Very nice gearbox and good firm brakes.
What's it like to park?
Easy, rear parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
DPF warning light came on last week but I had expected it as I'd done quite a lot of small journeys recently. Not really as issue as its supposed to renew itself after a good run. So I took it for a 30 min run up the motorway at 60 in 5th, which lets the system burn off the soot. A bit of a pain but has encouraged me to do less small trips in it.
What's most practical about your car?
Load space, roof rails, glove box and arm rest storage all good.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Panoramic roof, last car a Mini had one too. Sound and style also has a Bose stereo but its not fantastic.
