Infuriated that Nissan don't accept there is a batch problem with their intelligent charging technology. Read all about it here: https://www.qashqaiforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3214 Charging stops when it reaches 12.9 volts. The result is that battery is never fully charged. This destroyed two batteries, we are on our third and need to keep toping up charge with battery charger. Nissan deny the fault. Main dealer diagnosed faulty alternator but a new one was the same. The fault is in the intelligent charging system. We won't buy another Nissan.
How reliable do you find the car?
These models have intelligent charging technology which is defective. It never fully charges battery. We have had 3 batteries and 3 AA call outs caused by dead battery.
