Nissan Qashqai (2014 - 2021) 1.6 dCi Visia 5d CVT Owner Review

In their own words
The car was very comfortable and quiet. A 2000-mile trip across Europe was not tiring at all. Maintaining 85-90 miles/h on German highways wasn't difficult at all for the 1.6 diesel engine. The tire pressure monitoring system was highly accurate and very useful. So was the lane change warning system. Fuel economy was great - I averaged 42 mpg on the highway in Europe with a full car and a large roof box, driving mostly at 85 mph. I liked most things about the car and there was nothing that I disliked. I am writing about the Qashqai in the past tense because it got stolen in East Europe and was never found. It seems the thieves grabbed the signal from the key and unlocked and started the car in seconds. Apparently cars with keyless entry are the easiest to steal.I heard they can now grab the signal from your remote through a wall. With some old-fashioned crate one will not have this problem because one needs a key to open and to start it and no self-respecting thief would even get close to it.
How reliable do you find the car?
In a little less than a year of everyday driving the only problem was with the battery. I read that this Italian brand was not known for longevity.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
