In their own words

The new Qashqai is an improvement over the outgoing version. There are many configurations to chose from. The last car was Tekna so it made sense to keep with what we knew. Again the last car was Xtronic so we stayed with that transmission. The Tekna is well specked but the N connector might have been a better buy. The Tekna is doing around 40 mpg with city and rural trips. While we are not high mileage users the Tekna has some really good features such as the heads up display which with propilot takes care of city speed limits and sudden stops. All in all it’s the right car for our needs. The next car may well be a full EV but this version is a stepping stone. Perhaps by that time the Qashqai may be available in that form. So far after nearly 6 months of ownership it appears to be a reliable well thought out solidly built British car.
