Nissan Qashqai SUV 1.3 DiG-T MH 158 Tekna 5dr Owner Review

We test drove a number of cars prior to choosing the qashqai. The looks of the car far outway the underlying flaws with this vehicle, perhaps because we chose the manual and not the automatic version. First trouble we noticed was the massive lag in first gear when turning across traffic, it just dies, now this is a serious issue and dangerous. Secondly the car just emergency brakes for no reason when nothing is around . Interior quality was poor with stitching coming away from by the door handles. Gladly got rid of this car after 6 months and purchased the karoq which is absolutely fantastic. The engine management warning came on as well and went back off after we restarted the vehicle. All these issues were reported to nissan who had the vehicle back and found nothing wrong. Do yourselves a favour and go else where looks aren't everything if the underlying problems from previous generations are not resolved.
