Nissan QX 3.0 V6 SE 4d Auto (1996/N) Owner Review

Economy
Value
As a second-hand buy, this cannot be beaten. Top of the range luxury at clapped out Fiesta prices.
Costs
Cheaper serviciing than any of its rivals. A bit thirsty but you can buy a lot of petrol with the savings to made in buying the car in the first place.

On the road
Driving
Smooth, quiet, comfortable ride; excellent long distance cruiser. If you are used to one of the German rivals then you might find the ride a bit soft and not quite as positive, but many would prefer this. Not a 'nippy' car, women seem to hate it.
Performance
Effortlessly powerful V6 engine.

Living with it
Reliability
Absolutely no problems at all.
Image
I think the car looks impressive, but many people, conditioned by German styling thin the car is bland. Not a car for show-offs or the style concious but ideal for wolves in sheep's clothing. In the US the image is rated highly and on a par with Lexus.
Comfort
Seats have height and lumbar support adjustment, lots of legroom, quiet interior even at speed and smooth suspension. Makes for a comfortable and non-tiring ride.

Security and Service
Security
Has a good security system fitted, but anyway this isn't the kind of car that thieves are interested in.
Service
Parts are quite inexpensive but dealership labour is expensive - go to an independent.
