Nissan Serena 2.0 SLX 5d (1993/K) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Dual climate control with remote for rear passangers, tinted windows, power steering great value.
Costs
Fuel economy is poor. 20mpg urban and 32mpg on a run (not helped by permanent 4WD and auto gearbox). Economy didn't change though when towing a 2053Kg caravan. Not had to pay for anything else as it hasn't gone wrong yet, touch wood.

On the road
Driving
My japanese imported LARGO like a SERENA is great. High driving position is good and with 4 wheel drive it was great in the snow. Sticks to the road well with it being mid-engined.
Performance
For a 2 tonne MPV with auto gearbox not bad; 0-60 in about 20 secs.

Living with it
Reliability
First class so for.
Image
Stands out with better looks than standard Serena.
Comfort
First class and in the back you can swivel the centre seat so rear passangers can face each other. Only thing I can flaw is that you get more engine noise in the front than other MPVs, but you are sitting over the engine.

Security and Service
