Fast and in control

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Thought that it was a piece of scrap metal until they were struggling to keep up behind me on the way to school. This is because under the bonnet is a 129bhp 1.8 16v engine which is standard in the ZX

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes I would and have. These cars are cheap and fast. Only problem is the insurance as they are group 13.

What are you likely to buy next?

Nissan 200sx s13 or s14 or silvia s12 or s15 or 300zx or Skyline GTR R32 or R34. Basically a Nissan, not sure what.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes not a bad price at £420. Did need some work on it but maily body work.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I was only 16 at the time, and was on ebay. Also I am a Nissan fan and I love Skyline GTR's so had to start somewhere.

What's it like to drive?

Amazing. Amongst the cars I have owned and driven, this is in the top 5. Faster than a mazda 3, renault laguna 2.0, vw polo 1.6, peugeot 307 1.4, vauxhall astra 1.4. The handling in this car is superb as it comes standard with front and rear anti roll bars and stiff suspension.

What's it like to park?

Very easy. This car has very light steering and is equiped with PAS.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Did start to misfire but problem was fixed due to the power amplifier giving up due to my driving style of pushing hard. These engines are bulletproof even when they are not serviced regularly.

What's most practical about your car?

Was very good on fuel for a car from 1989. Was extremly quick aswell which is why I like this car alot.

Engine. 1.8 Twin Cam 16v multipoint fuel injection.
