It was the cheapest one advertised for that particular model, age and spec.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed a bit more space and practicality than our old Fiat Bravo could offer
What was the dealer like?
Very easy to deal with. No pressure. A nice guy. Did fail to tell me that there was no spare key - but then I should have asked.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Slow steering. Gearshift is not bad. Brakes are quite good. Grip levels are good but it won't change direction as quickly as a small car. Very comfortable especially on the motorway. I don't like first gear as it doesn't have a big enough range. Car is quite quick once on the move. Handles bumps very well. Very noisy diesel when cold but within two minutes it becomes quiet and refined. All in all it's a pleasure to be in.
What's it like to park?
I have a little bit of trouble reverse parking as the rear view mirror makes things look further away than they actually are...or it could just be me.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Touch wood - nothing - it has been perfect. I've only had it a year and a half though.
What's most practical about your car?
Car is compact for a 4x4 but still has lots of storage space. Really good family car. Also cheap to run. Does a good 40 mpg mixed driving.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
4 wheel drive works really well in the snow. Sunroof is massive. Air con is good. Reasonably nice leather seats.
