Economy
Value
Lot of equipment, CD player, cooling compartments for drinks, climb control, leather etc.
Costs
So far nothing other than routine servicing (gone from 17k to 44k in 15months)

On the road
Driving
Engine pulls strongly midrange. Handles well for size of vehicle. 6 speed box makes for great motorway cruising at low revs. Brakes very good. Visibility good. Only grumble is that clutch has to be dipped to the floor.
Performance
For size, goes well. Even so, more powerful engine on latest model will be welcome. Engine changed from turbo diesel to common Rail diesel may - this may make less smoke, which current turbo engine does seem to produce when pushed even gently!

Living with it
Reliability
So far 100%, although Nissan recal for upgrade to timing belt/chain tensioner, done free of charge whilst I waited.
Image
I think this car is quite cool in its class.
Comfort
I find this car very comfortable, seats adjust well, wheel height adjustable etc.

Security and Service
Security
Have triggered the alarm twice by opening the door to quickly. Could not turn alarm off and it went on for about 30 mins - very embarrassing on petrol forecourt - had to drive off with tissue paper in my ears, absolutely ear splitting noise.
Service
So far has been impeccable

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
None other than Nissan recall for mod to chain tensioner at about 20k miles (which I must say had become noisy but has been fine since)
Other
