A great driving position with good all-round visibility and a commanding view of the road. It’s easy to get comfortable and the steering wheel is adjustable. Attractive dash is clad in a rubber-effect plastic that’s easy to clean. Big chunky dials with precise movement and the dials are centrally-mounted, which makes them easy to see.
The excellent seats offer plenty of back support, plus there’s loads of head and legroom throughout for all the family. It easily takes four without complaint and five can travel in some comfort. The noisy diesels can spoil the ride enjoyment a little at times, but otherwise X-Trail is well insulated against wind and road noise.
