I was in the market for a family car and my wife is a big SUV fan, looked at lots of alternatives, literally came upon X Trail by accident. Once looked into it found it is perfect for our needs. Space, reliability, 4x4 capable and decent mpg. Decent comfort with Tekna range and I like the fact it actually looks like a 4x4. Happier with this than I was with my previous BMW that cost twice as much.
How reliable do you find the car?
Oxygen sensor needed replacing which I think I didn't check on purchase.
