Low mileage, 30k, looked after, not cheap.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

4x4 with difflock and 2 wheel drive. parkers recommended Honda cr4, rav 4 and xtrail, I chose xtrail. recommended by a friend.

What's it like to drive?

Very good, comfortable and smooth. can get 40mpg if I drive sensibly.

What's it like to park?

Good, no problem, TV useful.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Particulate filter, a major design fault. first time I have ever had a car serviced. They said they had used recommended oil but light came on, then engine management, had to take to agent for regeneration £195! Even with oil from Nissan, light comes .on quickly if driving a short, slow run. Also garage changed fuel filter and reused the valve attached. this meant having to bleed the system each morning until the agent told me the fault, I changed the filter with valve and is now ok. Exhaust heat shields falling off.

What's most practical about your car?

Good size and storage compartments. It has a spare wheel but not full size.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Maybe reversing TV, a bit of a novelty. Satnav cannot accept a post code and will cost £40+ to update!
