Summary
What does this car say about you?
Nothing. And that's the way I like it. I don't go in for all of this 'look at me' rubbish - I'm not that insecure.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Nothing at first, though after half an hour with me they are either running for the nearest perodua dealer or quietly moving to the other side of the room.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes because this little car has won my affection and I am hard to please. It is rubbish really but it works and it has a personality which most modern cars are lacking.
What are you likely to buy next?
A Kelisa.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£1,400
When did you buy the car?
January 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
I don't think I can complain for the price I paid.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
No.I had never heard of Perodua before I chanced upon the car in AutoTrader. I went to see it out of curiosity more than anything and was pleasantly surprised. It's quite a cute car.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's similar to driving a go kart. Great fun. Gutsy and quick off the mark. I was amazed to find that it ticks over at 3000 revs at 70mph! Don't go any faster though as the front wheels start to vibrate. The only down side are the seats which are a little to uncomfortable for me on long trips (I'm 6ft 2 inches), yet I always look forward to driving it.
What's it like to park?
Easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No. It squeeks and rattles alot but I've come to realise that it's just 'rough n ready' - a work horse. You could probably throw it off a cliff and it would still work. It has started first time every time and has never failed me.
What's most practical about your car?
Everything! It's as cheap as chips (£25 will get you a full tank and 250 miles), nipply, turns on a six pence and is easy to maintain.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The hole where the stereo is supposed to be. Seriously, it doesn't come with a stereo!!! That still brings a smile to my face when I think about it.
