Economy
Value
Cheap to buy (£6,500) and came with a year's free insurance.
Costs
Very economical, never less than 40 mpg.
-
On the road
Driving
Lovely to drive though there is a fair amount of body roll. Excellent ride.
Performance
For its size the engine performs very well and is flexible. Will pull away (on the flat) in 5th at 30 mph without too much trouble.

Living with it
Reliability
Only let me down once when the electrics went crazy - no indicators, lights etc.
Image
Looks pretty but is showing its age against newer rivals.
Comfort
Fine up front and a big boot but not much space in the back. Fairly relaxed on A-roads but gets a bit hectic at motorway speeds.

Security and Service
Security
Only a basic lock design and an immobiliser.
Service
Always very good and sort problems out quickly.
