Summary
What does this car say about you?
Well it's a "Mardi Gras" edition and that is not the best of things to have written on the car, but apart from that I don't really mind.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think that it is fine for me to have as a first car. My friends do sometimes take the mickey because it is a "Mardi Gras" edition.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would definately buy another 106 but not a Mardi Gras edition if I could help it LOL.
What are you likely to buy next?
I am looking at perhaps a Corsa Sport or Maybe a Peugeot 106 XS. If I push the boat out I may look at getting a 106 GTI or a VW Golf 1.6

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Good handling little car, slow for top speed. not really any mid-range power. And the car really struggles up hills. With the small standard wheels it does lose grip around some corners. I think it is something like 0-60 in 13 seconds?
What's it like to park?
Parking is fine because it is a small car

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yea ECU needed re-mapping, and I have had a new CV gaitor on the back. I have also had to replace a wheel cylinder which was leaking brake fluid badly! But then again it is 13Years old so...
What's most practical about your car?
It is great on fuel, I find that it is also average speed for a 1.1
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I have upgraded my car to have a premium sound system with upgraded: headunit, speakers, amp and subwoofer
