-
Economy
Value
Ultra cheap car to buy and run. Extremely reliable too.
Costs
One or 2 parts are dearer than, say, a Ford, but it's altogether better built than them anyway.
-
On the road
Driving
Excellent roadholding. Brakes aren't very good though.
Performance
Decent for a 1.1. Struggles on motorways a bit and can be noisy too.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Owned for 3 years, never once broke down.
Image
A bit dated now. Not as chunky as most modern superminis, but still classier than a saxo or a Fiesta.
Comfort
Ok about town best. Pedal well is tiny and steering wheel is low for tall passengers, resting on the knees!

Security and Service
Security
Poor, but for its day it wasn't bad.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Fairly quiet, smooth and low maintanance.
Other
Brakes always feel a bit poor compared to rivals. Not nearly as sharp as they should be.
