Economy
Value
It was higher valued in its day. But now you can pick them up quite cheaply
Costs
Very good MPG. Low servicing costs. Needed a new clutch and timing belt after 72k miles which is very good.

On the road
Driving
The manual choke is hard to work at first and lead to over-choking a few times. But it's an ace little hatch.
Performance
Very nippy for a 1.1 deals with town and country roads with ease. But don't try to race, you might pull off faster, but it can take time to build speed

Living with it
Reliability
Never failed to start for me up to press, even in harsh conditions.
Image
It may be old, but I have had neighbours come round and tell me how nice the car looks. No rust anywhere even after 12 years.
Comfort
No very comfortable, after 2 hours you back can start aching as mine does.

Security and Service
Security
No immobiliser or alarm as standard and weak locks
Service
Peugeot charge too much for their work, take it to a reputable garage instead.
