Peugeot 106 (1991 - 2003) 1.5 D Zest2 5d Owner Review

I'll have to admit that this car has been the best car I've had for years! (I've owned two beetles and a T reg fiesta which were great years ago) and I'm a 65yr old ex HGV driver so have driven just about everything! I'm still odd jobbing so I want my car to look as though I can take care of things for customers and we turn up newly cleaned (every week) for the best first impression possible. I have no fear of whizzing off for a 300 mile round trip at any time, one trip took me down to Totton to get 10 stackable pallets which fitted neatly in the back (okay they were stackable) this trip went smoothly as usual and only cost me a tenner in fuel. The first thing I did when I got her was to make a boot liner, now I just empty the back out and put the seats upright and she's back from a works van (or skip my wife calls it) to a tidy little car that even granny likes a ride in. She starts at the first or second revolution even in the frost and when I take her for an MOT the tester always asks me if I wanna sell it!!
I do change the oil twice a year inc filter and run fuel enhancer through it at the same time, this keeps the emissions extremely low, lower according to the MOT's than way before I had it.
As I think this is my last car I've changed indicators and sidelights for LED's and fitted DRL's which just jazzes it up a bit. I've also got both the fogs and reversing lights working as the basic spec was one of each but the bulb holders were there but not wired.
